Is there any combination of words that threatens boredom better than those?

But wait! My friend and fellow musician, Torraine Futurum, and I have made a show with themes, structure, and heart to boot! It’s not just another amorphous hour of two schmucks with microphones talking about LA traffic, interrupted by pitches for vitamin supplements.

Ours is called Demos on the Radio. In each episode, we both play a song we're working on (a demo) and discuss a song, artist, or album we love (the radio!) If you make music, or are curious about how a song gets made, this show covers it all in a way that's candid, but constructive; encouraging and entertaining. It’s a show about making art and supporting your friends!

The first episode is out now, and the theme is “an artist, song, or album that made you want to start making music." Torraine reveals the art-rock icon that she says "terraformed her brain" and I explain why I thought I just didn't like music for a long time. Listen wherever you find podcasts, or watch the recorded conversation on YouTube, complete with intro and outro graphics, and album art for the music we’re discussing!

It’s 45 minutes of playful, passionate conversation between friends who love music so much, they decided to make it themselves!
